INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Essentials of German Grammar course!

I hope this website helps you continue, or even begin, your German language-learning journey. 

From 2018-2019, I lived in Germany for one year with a host family. There, I learned German within my community (through immersion) and independently (using several textbooks). Upon my arrival back in the US, I enrolled in the DSD II course at the German Saturday School Boston, in which I continued to learn German at the C1-C2 level (advanced-fluent).

HOW TO USE THIS ONLINE COURSE

• If you're new to learning German, I highly recommend going consecutively from lesson 1 to the end - please do not skip lessons! Each lesson is jam-packed with information and tends to build on information from the last. 

• Interact constantly with the linked sources in the Media + Vocab section. 

• Consider keeping a daily diary to expand your vocab, learn vocab, and practice grammar skills.
