2024 (1 year of training):
In 2023, I founded Music to Fulfill (MuFu) as a registered student organization at Williams College. I have served as President and Co-Communications Manager from 2023-present.
MuFu connects community service with the arts. We increase access to musical performances beyond Williams, especially to communities and individuals experiencing hardship.
Williams student performance groups connect musically and personally with the community. Partner sites include local medical centers, housing shelters, and youth arts centers.
My organization was recognized in 2024 with the Regional Neighborly Award by the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition "for sharing wonderful music with the community and bringing joy and beauty to others."
Regional recognition at the
2023 Neighborlies Annual Awards Ceremony
MuFu recognized for outstanding regional community service.
Concerts for the Community
A MuFu group performs in 2024 in a schoolwide concert at Morningside Community School, where 84% of students receive free or reduced lunch.
I served as the concertmaster of the Williams Opera Workshop orchestra pit annually from 2022-2026.
I served in the leading ('locked') stands of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra from 2017-2022.
I received full merit-based scholarship all years. I was the only high schooler selected to lead the orchestra, starting from freshman year (selected into leading stands all consecutive years). All other leading desks were college and music conservatory students. Seating is determined annually through in-person audition and interview.
I performed with the BPYO in Boston Symphony Hall and Harvard Sanders Theatre, and we toured Germany, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, and Greece across summers 2018-2022.
